In Spain after the bloody civil war in the thirties a confessional regime was installed. Many authors have agreed to call it National-Catholic. The criteria for a liturgical and artistic renewal that were being driven by some European centers since the nineteenth century and endorsed by the Church, at least since 1903, had to draw on the vision and the work of a small number of ecclesiastical communities and authors.
